ABOUT ME

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I didn't always have them post an interesting review on my couchsurfing page, I have been hosting people ever since I got on my own. It started with my college friend who had no place to stay for the summer and so I let him crash on my couch for several months until he got back on his feet. Since then, it has blossomed into something much more than that, but I won't bore you with the details. Just ask me when we meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've used couchsurfing on and off over the years. At present, I'm rather ambivalent about the whole thing. There was a while there that I was a fanatic about it, but now I would much rather just host people and get to know them that way, and when I get the chance to travel, to meet new people through this wonderful medium.

Interests

I have a genuine curiosity about life and any aspect related to it. I like music, traveling, meeting new people, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Doctoral student of literature focusing on Vietnam war literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was present in two different riots - 2007 Tallinn + 2011 Cairo.
I was a member of the Vermont Special Olympics security team in 2009.
I did the Penguin Plunge in 2009, which helped benefit special needs.
I was a member of the Norwich Independent Battery (Artillery Company) at Norwich University.
I worked for 3 years at my college's radio station where I DJed and helped keep the music in chronological order.
I was a student senator and a model U.N. representative for my school at the University level.
I played Rugby, American Football, and Hockey for a combined total of something like 11 years. Nbd.
