About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Update my profile.Just moved to Graz.

ABOUT ME

Non-conventional. simple as that. I Iike people who expect more of life than a dead end daily job and maybe take 1-2x holiday per year. People who have met me usually say I am the friendliest and most positive person they ever met in their life, although some found my type of dark humor a bit too much (Anal Cunt anyone? Do you find their lyrics funny or not?). Made them FÜHRious 'cause they did NAZI that CUMming.

I don't like extremes in any way. As Buddha used to say, the middle path is the always the best.

For geeks: I'm 40% metal (reference: Bender, Futurama), 30% curious , 20% scientist and 10% artist.

As you may already noticed, I love puns. Write a good one in your request and increse your chance for hosting you .

You might say I am DAD inside.

And foremost, I just love people who read my whole profile. Makes me feel you sincerely want to meet me and not just save up to 50 eur/night.

PHILOSOPHY

is my hand on fire? No? Then it's the acid. Now it would be the perfect time to do acid. Will update it soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As my gay best friend would say: "I like it both ways". Although, due to the current situation, I will most probably host, which would according to the professional terminology make me a power bottom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my first surfer just two weeks after i joined CS, it was quite an experience. Didn't know what was "the protocol" for hosts, so we improvised. In the end everything turned out OK. On the other hand, after a few months, I lost my virginity(figuratively speaking!) as a surfer in Czech Republic - loved it!

In the previous chapter of my life I mostly hosted various people in Innsbruck. Believe it or not, even single attractive women stayed alone at my place. And I didn't get raped or molested by any them, how awesome is that!? I even stayed friends with some of my guests. And I am grateful for it.

Then life happened and I took a paternity leave of sorts for 3 years and moved to Spittal an der Drau in Southern Austria. And, despite of many amazing things that happened during that time, I missed couchsurfing to some extent. And here I am...

Music, Movies, and Books

-metal (thrash, death, progressive, avantgarde, melodic, doom, stoner, groove. Not so much into power, folk, heavy, black, gothic, nu)
-grunge
-rock (60s, 70s, prog, psychadelic)
-punk rock
-ambient
-blues

Not stricly limited though. Like the good shit in some other genres too, NIN and Cypres Hill are always welcome. As long the music is made with passion and has a message. No radio crap!

books: Brave New World, 1984, Animal Farm, Stranger in a Strange Land

movies: not that into movies (I am too lazy to explore this field. But if someone gives me a good sugesstion I am up for it). My cup of tea: Futurama, Family Guy, Brickleberry, American Dad, Bobs Burgers, South Park

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raising a family. Period. THE best damn thing that ever happened to me so far. Don't let the anti-natalist vegans fool you!

But since I know how annoying can a person with kids be to someone, who doesn't share the experience:

do over a 100 concerts and festivals count ? Or a pint of Guinness in Guinness factory? Or a sand storm in Praga? I isolated DNA from bacteria. I did crazy science stuff during my PhD. I brew my own beer. Life is full of amazing, tiny, at the time insignificant events, which gain importance later on, so it makes no sense to select what is "amazing" and what "regular". I see an amazing sunset every evening though my window.

Teach, Learn, Share

Among many things, I can teach you not to take life too personally, look at it from a perspective, the bigger picture. It is easier and more fun that way.
