About Me

Just trying to get the most out of life right now. But the first goal is to change the world. To do so requires an understanding of the world, the system, the balance and what better way than to live it?
^that's what I call a #lifegoal

I have been to CS events, but never actually hosted or been hosted. I've connected a few times, but have been met with last minute cancels. Still waiting for my first time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What would the alternative be?
Hotels? That's boring. I want to meet the people, I want to live the place. There is no culture or experience to be found in a hotel. At best there's a factory printed painting on the wall.

Don't get me wrong. Hostels or AirBnB have been great in my experience. I've been to too many I want to try something new. A local host to truly get a feel of the place.

Interests

To learn, to live, to wonder.

New is fun, fun is good, and good is the pure of heart. Especially sports and food. Expanded interests now include my recently developed creative inclinations caused by extreme boredom and restlessness. The cure is to never stop.

I'm studying theoretical physics. It is beauty and elegance. To me it is life. Sometimes at least to me, death feels just around the corner, but I refuse to die before having lived. I will live a life worth telling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, art, they speak to the soul. Music reflects our current state of mind, there is a cycle we go through. And with each cycle, minor alterations to our preferences lead to encounters with new music. I have no favourite music, only music I want to hear in the now.

Books and movies, on the other hand, are deemed intellectual. Inspire and to be inspired. I think books that fail to innovate or prompt reflection are a failure. OR simply, I like sci-fi and age-old tales of heroes. Like my travels, each book is a journey into my soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does running rooftops and other life-risking behaviours count? Otherwise, it'd be my backpacking trip that took me across Europe at age 15. I don't really know. What I can be certain is that I have my whole bucket list yet to cross out.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to solve differential equations or vector calculus. Maybe Cantonese if you like to torture yourself. Uh... I'm less willing to teach self-defense, parkour, and other ways to injure yourself.

However, I will learn anything and everything you are willing to teach. Body, mind, and soul.

I can also share my not-that-deep well of experience and my contacts if you want.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sports, failures, travels. You name it, I've probably done something like it.

Hazard label: anything conversations past 3 am will be about life, dreams and ideologies.
