ABOUT ME
First of all...My emails responded to says 0%, because I emailed myself a few times to make sure it was working, and when I responded to myself, it didn't register on there...I WILL write back.
PHILOSOPHY
I live for new experiences, for today, but with an idea and a goal for tomorrow. I like to meet new people, blah blah blah...all the same crap everyone says on these things. I live my life to enjoy it. I DO have long term goals, and I'm well on my way to accomplishing them, but I live in the moment. I like making people happy, seeing them smile and enjoying themselves. I find the good things in a bad situation and can enjoy being stranded at a lake at midnight, 20 miles from nowhere, needing to be at work in 6 hours and knowing there's a looong hike in 100 degree sun coming up soon(Recent experience) I know that looking back, even the bad things that happen in life will often be a great memory and a helluva learning experience. I love to reminisce about the old times and the good times in the past, but that just makes me want to go out and search for more and add to those memories with ever more exciting and eventful adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent three months couchsurfing in Chico, California just after my freshman year of college. I would work until 2:00 am, go out and find a gathering and crash there. I always had my backup apartment where an old friend lived, but I was young and enjoying it. Once someone showed up on another friends couch after a party, and he ended up staying with us for two months. Did odd jobs around town and for us at the house, so he was welcome to stick around. Once he'd saved up enough money to head home, he bid farewell. I never did learn his name... ...
My spare room has always been open to friends and coworkers down on their luck...the last four roommates I've had were people who just needed a place for the week and ended up moving in and staying for months. I like having visitors around.
Interests
Oh, hell...Muscle cars, mopars in particular, especially my Challenger! I like to read, to drive, to do just about anything outdoors. I love just being in the mountains, but don't do it nearly enough. I enjoy work, most of the time, and I like to just relax alone and quiet sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Need to work on my profile! It's been a while since I've been here...
...my whole beginnings of the itch to travel began when I was 15 years old. My dad called me from Louisville, KY and said he was stuck there. He said the keys to the car are in my top drawer, along with enough cash to get me here. I'll see you in a couple of days. I actually had to miss a week of my drivers training class to drive across the country, without yet even obtaining a learner's permit. I had been driving for quite some time, but nothing like that. I saw things I loved and got the drifters pull during my 42 hour 2400 mile non-stop burn from Sacramento, CA to Louisville, KY. I've done it three times since then, just for the hell of it, he now lives there, and I enjoy the long drive with a car full of food, coffee and friends.
