About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore all that kite-surfing spots in Egypt while simultaneously writing my second novel
ABOUT ME
I'm of Chinese-Filipino background, was raised in the US, worked in Sydney, and now living in Cairo for the last nine months. My traveling hasn't stopped as I explore and discover the most local yet the best places around Egypt. At the moment, I spend too much time dancing salsa and kite surfing on my holidays.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't wait til you're 50 to see the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted probably about 60 travelers back in the Philippines and US. I find it difficult to do the same in Cairo because of different cultures and concepts, however, it doesn't stop me from meeting csers for coffee, and of course, shisha. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The most memorable hosting experience I had was when we had my house then in the Philippines so packed! A total of 12 people managed to squeeze in! It so happened that all of my housemates and I were hosting people all at the same time! the first room was packed with four people, the other room with five people, and mine with three--we all didn't mind the space, but maybe some cultures will--it was still fun nonetheless :)
Interests
Ice cream, guava shisha, coffee, Russell Peters, Fight Club, Salsa, Kizomba, potato chips, Alpen, Fast 5. Ciaro Jazz Club, Bian Cafe, Mason Thomas. List just goes on when it comes to pop culture.
Most recently I fell in love salsa and kite surfing. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I should support my own book Table for Two. Currently reading Adrift on the Nile.
I'm big on movies, I'll watch anything as long as it's not gory.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is really a beach. This year, I've done 6 holidays in Hurghada, El Gouna, Alexandria, and even Queensland, and though I seem to spend a ton of time by the beach, it just never gets old. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
We've already heard this a bazillion times before: Life is short! So what I did was quit my job and live the life.
It might sound wrong if I say that I don't care about the future. I think I do, it's just that I care more about what's happening today, and if today makes me happy, I won't let yesterday or tomorrow ruin what I have today. :)
Countries I’ve Visited
