About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the most of my year in London, and make new friends from all corners of the world!
ABOUT ME
Life story in a nutshell: I was born in Bulgaria, moved to New York (40 min from Manhattan) when I was 9, got my Bachelor's in Linguistics and French from the University of Pittsburgh, studied abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris for one semester, then did my Master's in Applied Linguistics in London. I've been to all corners of the states and many places in Europe. However, I"ve never been to any other continent besides North America and Europe. Some of my favorite memories involve good times with great friends. I love all things classy but I also appreciate the simple things. I'm a real dork and love museums of all sorts--especially art museums. I love going to lectures and learning about topics that are or aren't in my field (that's why TED Talks are so addictive!).
PHILOSOPHY
Cliche alert: life is really short so live every day as if it were your last. If you find that you have had too many days that blur together, it's time to change something.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Bulgarian and English (I can proofread anything and everything for you), some ballet, how to pack a hookah, and how to write in the international phonetic alphabet.
I love languages so it would be great to learn some key phrases in your language! :-) I am also a terrible cook, so you could teach me some simple and delicious recipes!
