ABOUT ME

I always try to see the positive in things, and the best in people. I believe in hoping for the best while preparing for the worst, just in case. I try and live by the Golden Rule, so I am a very friendly person to everyone, though I may come off as a bit shy at first. However, I do have a bit of an Irish temper, and don't appreciate people being rude without reason. I love going out and trying new things, meeting new people, tasting new foods. I believe new experiences are part of what makes life awesome and am up for anything! I am fiercely loyal to my friends, and very protective. I'm very easy-going, and flexible, open to suggestions, and upbeat!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that a negative attitude is the worst possible thing. No matter how dreary the situation, it could always be worse, so I try to keep a positive attitude. I've found it really does help make life better!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being fully aware of the extreme cost of travel, I am more than wiling to open my home up to fellow CSers, provided their profiles don't reveal any homicidal tendencies! I hope that when I am finally able to journey out once again, I will be able to find someone willing to share their couch, or even floor, with a fellow traveler!

Interests

I am passionate about reading, and could spend entire days reading and doing nothing else. I have a deep respect for those who can cook, because I simply haven't found the joy in it (yet!). I'm trying to further my limited capabilities. I adore movies! Love, love, love them! Passing time with friends, sharing stories, laughing.

Music, Movies, and Books

-The Harry Potter series, LOTR trilogy, really any good mysteries, love stories, or fantasy books.
-I love most types of movies: action, chick flicks, mysteries, dramas, comedys. I don't care for scary or gory movies, because I tend to freak myself out plenty on my own, without help.
-Music is essential to life, and I can almost always find something I like about whatever song I'm listening to. However, hard-core rap is not really my taste, nor is the old school country songs. The newer stuff is better. Anything with a real heavy bass tends to get on my nerves.
