ABOUT ME

Ciao! I'm a student from California, but I'm currently studying abroad in (Florence/Bologna). I'll be in Italy for a total of 11 months, and so far I am loving every second of this experience! I love to travel, eat (well I am in Italy), and go on spontaneous adventures!

PHILOSOPHY

We are continously influenced in life by the simple fact of living it...the people we encounter, the decisions we choose to make, and most importantly how we choose to balance life itself. However, this is the first time in my life when I've realized that only I can decide what I take away from any given experience... Through all the ups and downs I've had on this journey I've come to appriciate the smallest things in life...like a simple ciao, or buon giorno from a stranger (espeically the old ones that hangout in the piazzas..they tend to tell interesting stories), or someone going out of their way to give me directions, or hearing the accordian play every morning as I walk to school, and most importantly knowing that there are people out there that still care to know how I've been :). This is part of my journal I'm keeping while I've been on this journey...it's just something that expresses on of the biggest realizations I've had :)

Traveling-of course :D
Eating and cooking (especially Mexican food), yoga, wandering a new city, meeting new people, going to the beach (well I am from CA), going on road trips....
