ABOUT ME

I grew up in an Ashram, a type of Monastery from my childhood and i was brought up in strict religious discipline. I stayed there and studied with my parents and teachers.

My study, my discipline and my religion has taught me openness, clarity and made me and my thoughts rise above basic fundamentalism and an attitude to share.

I have been working for the past 14 years, in sales, advertising and now in communication. I am a trainer in a managerial position and working for the largest life insurer in the world. i take pride in what i do and work to make a living.

i travel a lot as a part of my work and also a part of my hobby. been traveling since 12 years and i wish to do more.

i am single and i prefer to maintain that status in future. i like celibacy and my attitude. however, my respect for the opposite sex is unshaken and is spotless. religion is also a reason for my celibacy.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel there is lot to learn, see and know in this world and we need to do something to the society around us, adding value to the society and environment.......

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am a member of Youth Hostel Association, YMCA and other such associations. i had participated in very many programs involving service for a social cause like fund raising, rural education activity, rural health care, rural awareness. i have had fun all along and i love what i do.

i think couch surfing would fit into my requirement, rather i would fit into its requirement towards a proactive and value add service to our community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have participated in Pushkar CS Meet happened during Nov '08, Pushkar Mela, Rajasthan for a span of 4 days.

i had been on camping/scouting missions almost 3 times in an year.

i had been recently to Belgium as a part of Group Study Exchange organized by rotary foundation for a period of 35 days. i stayed with hosts in their homes and visited 20+ towns and visited a different world. i feel couch surfing would give me opportunity for a similar experience.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

i had been to Belgium on a Group Study Exchange mission for 35 days and were hosted by 8 families. i have visited 22 towns and met many people from different backgrounds. this trip is truly amazing and a great achievement for me as a person.

i had been to Eiffel tower, Paris as a part of this program and i feel that to be on the top floor of Eiffel Tower is an amazing thing which i have done till now.

i had traveled on a bullock cart when i lost my wallet while traveling on a holiday and i have lived for 2 days in forest literally penny-less and actually enjoyed my poverty which is truly amazing. i have also learned that money is actually not every thing for many people in many parts of the world.

i suffered a heart attack at an age of 32, 2 years ago and i was knocking the Pearly Gates of the LORD, however, they have pulled me back.....this is truly amazing and a message that i have still lot of things to do in this life time...

i am a Trainer and i love teaching. especially, i have spent lot of hours teaching basic learning skills to many under privileged around the place i live.

i take part in various activities which involves knowledge sharing, service to society and work towards a solution for a society.
