I'm an easy-going, nice person. I don't think my desires or needs are anything other than average. I'm always willing to learn from my experiences and mistakes, and most importantly, from my interactions with other people.

I was born in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, and the major portion of my upbringing happened in New York City. I've been back in India for more than six years now, and I'm around for a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet people from around country and the world and learn as much about life as possible through that interaction. In the process, perhaps I can teach something to the people I come across as well.

Interests

Good food, good drinks, good company and a good environment---these are indispensable. I listen to a lot of music, and enjoy watching movies and engaging with visual and performing arts of various kinds. Music, Movies, and Books

Check out my Goodreads account for my favourite books [https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/10688672-sree]. Musically, I'm inclined towards rock, jazz, blues and Indian classical/folk. I'm a huge fan of Satyajit Ray's and Woody Allen's work and generally anything arthousey is perfect as far as film goes. Nevertheless I do watch commercial films, as long as the plot is strong.

I'm all about letting others do what makes sense to them, and not interfering with other lifestyles, even if I disagree on whether that's the best way to do things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My home and my time. I can't guarantee that I will be able to hang out when you're visiting, but given enough advance notice, I can definitely make an effort to make hanging out possible.
