About Me
I write at www.srinathn.com. It took me ten days to write the 'About Me' page there. So, at the cost of looking lazy -in spite of spending ten days staring at a existential blank page- I may have to redirect you there. Forget the fact that I told you I took ten days to write it before you start reading though - https://srinathn.com/about/
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I took the 'quit your job and go travel the world' bit seriously. Two days after I quit, I realized Europe is breath-takingly, well, expensive, and I may have to 'quit my travel to go get a job' if I didn't couchsurf.
Of course, I also look forward to meet incredible people such as youself who will keep my hope and dreams and dough and the flame of acidity burning in my empty stomach, as I save up for my Euro trip, alive.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have this weird disposition where I enjoy Music someone else is listening to. That weirdness spills off on to my movie-watching habit too: I prefer watching movies a friend reccomends rather than the one's a million people are recommending at IMDB.
Pink Floyd, Adele and Goodwill hunting made me cry. I think this just means I need to put myself around people who listen to music and recommend movies. (And occasionally be quiet to meditate.)
Books: Their presence gives me comfort. I read my kindle sorrounded by a wall full of books just to confuse people sometimes. That's a near-perfect day for me. Catcher in the Rye and Hunger games have been my favourites this year. I enjoyed The Great Gatsby and 1984, although I left them both midway.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once took ten days to write an 'About me' page.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can close my eyes and teach you to dance like no one's watching.
I would like to learn to dance while simultaneously learning a language so that I am not worried about people that told me to 'dance like no one's watching' staring at me.
I can cook Indian food and share it with you after all the dancing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything Books, India, Writing, Meditation, Travel and Kung-fu. Okay, I just made up the last one.
