Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wanted to meet people with different backgrounds, knowing their story, the way they live. Currently the way things are around me I am not able to meet people with varied backgrounds. Through couch sharing I can spend time with different people, get to know about their perspectives. Their way of life and most importantly the learnings I can take from them.

Interests

My interest in mythology started from my grandmothers stories during my childhood. Since then i have read mahabharata by c rajagopalachari, valmiki ramayana. I am a big fan of fantasy novels. I grew up reading harry potter series, eragon series etc. Currently I am getting an intrest towards the thriller genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing that is etched in my memory is my trip to Pondicherry with friends. The budget of the trip was 800 INR (12.3 dollars). We wanted to spend this maximum in Pondicherry. We travelled in the unreserved compartment in train for 9 hours and we spent the night on the waiting room of railway station as we didnot want to spend on hotel rooms. This way we were able to spend the maximum time drinking and enjoying the beaches. The best part was getting washed away by the waves. It took almost 3 hours to get to normal state. I would call this my amazing experience.
