ABOUT ME

I am a very simple person who takes life serious enough not to be serious. I was a runaway when I was 14 (just for a couple weeks before returning home!!) and have been traveling ever since. I am pretty laid back and will do anything for fun...When I am in town, I usually hang out with a great and amazing group of friends drinking, bullshitting, engaging in meaningless conversation, playing trivia, putt-putt golf, movies, sports...whatever. Weekends, we do happy hour that usually extends to a late hour. When I am not doing the above things, I am a professor at a nearby university and I teach business classes mostly at the graduate level. I love meeting people, sharing stories, seeing/learning/feeling new things and generally live and let live kind of an outlook. I am usually fun to hang out with. I have realized over the years--more people you meet, less hate you will have in general. My favorite places are Portland, Oregon; Budapest, Hungary; Florence, Italy; Asheville, North Carolina; New York City; Medellin, Colombia; Montreal, Canada; Stockholm, Sweden.

Music, Movies, and Books

Watch any genre/type. I really love stupid comedy movies like super troopers, police academy, etc.....My Cousin Vinny, Shawshank Redemption (mostly for the dialogues), Office Space, Raiders of the Lost Arc, Station Agent, and Super Troopers are a few I like. Big fan of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. These days I listen to mostly indie rock (Band of Horses, Local Natives, Gorillaz, Decemberists, Shins are all my favorites now).
