My name is Sriram (Sri for short). I'm a business law student, currently in my final undergraduate year. Originally from Kerala, India I'm still just an amateur traveller. I have gone to Australia, South East Asia, the Middle East and I still hope to explore the rest of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe that connections made on a local level is signficantly more rewarding than if I just met someone at a hotel lobby. Let's be honest, none of us remember the name of that one hotel service guy that took our bags up to our room! I think Couchsurfing gives us an intimate level of understanding of the local culture, customs and general lifestyles. After all, travelling is for those who wish to embrace new values and I cannot think of a better way to do so than to live with someone with the willingness to accommodate newcomers.
