About Me
I'm an engineer by trade who recently left the corporate 9-5 grind to pursue my goal of independence as a professional poker player. I absolutely love traveling pretty much anywhere (surprise surprise) and trying to meet new people and make new friends where ever I go.
I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with, except for maybe when the New England Patriots are playing or when my fantasy football team is losing ;-). When I'm not playing poker, you'll usually find me studying up on my game at home, out at one of the local bars, or hanging out with my amazing roommates at the house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm mainly on Couchsurfing for two reasons:
1) To give something back. One harsh criticism that is common for professional poker players to receive is that we do not provide any value to society. While I believe that giving back is a personal responsibility, this is one small way for me to help others in need.
2) To meet new, awesome people. Poker has a way of introducing me to mostly retired men. Don't get me wrong, I love what every one of them has to offer, but for a mid-20's guy looking to expand his social circle, the poker tables are probably not the best place to start.
