About Me

I'm an adventurous and happy spirit, who loves traveling and learning new things. I'd rather have a conversation with you about the deep meaning of life rather then talk about the latest trends. I'm open to everything, but am a lover of the outdoors, and most of what I do revolves around adventures outside. I love dogs, and I love hiking with dogs. I love the ocean, but the forest is equally magical. I bring my slackline everywhere, but prefer slacking between two palm trees. My hammock also comes along for the ride usually. I love long road trips, and love foreign cities as well. I can hang with pretty much anyone, and would be happy to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first couchsurfed in Iceland, in Reykjavik, and it was quite possibly the best experience ever. I have also hosted a few people. I love the idea of couchsurfing, and think it's an awesome tool for people to learn about others and the culture they come from.

Interests

I'm a Baha'i and I do a lot of yoga, I believe in the power of mindfulness, I'm a psychology nerd, I love to read, hiking, swimming, anything with my dog, surfing, slacklining, roadtripping...I could go on for awhile... :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That time I sheep herded in Iceland was pretty epic...

Teach, Learn, Share

What I have truly learned on my travels is that we're all a part of each other. We all survive with one another, and we're all here for one another, whether we realize it or not. Each person you meet, even if you meet them for a few seconds, will impact you in some way. They will change your perspective, in some way. So I have learned to treat each and every person with respect and dignity, because we all help each other along. We all struggle, so we're here to help each other through the struggle.

"The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."
-Baha'u'llah, Baha'i Faith
