Ola amigos e amigas!

I will be coming to Lisbon for a dance commitment end of Jan and have decided to also travel a bit for a week or so prior to it.

In Lisbon, I would simply like to make local friends with whom to share fascinating conversations, delicious food and lots of walks. While travelling, I will do my annual solo retreat which includes activities likes yoga, meditation, breath work, somatic and energetic healing, journaling and other hippie dippy stuff I thrive on. This means that I will have some commitments but never too many to spend time together and share laughs! :)

I am Brazilian, living in Canada and an avid traveler/dancer/adventure lover! I enjoy walking and talking for hours, staying off the beaten path a bit and connecting with humans in other places (geographically, mentally, spiritually). I also love to connect with fur or scales babies so if you have those at home, I will shower then with love!

My idea of couch surfing is typically using the hangouts feature although I have recently begun surfing a bit. Am open to either if you’re unable to host! The company is most important. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a lot and find that making friends abroad is the #1 most important thing in a trip. I am not a let-me-get-all-the-pictures-from-famous-places types of gal, so connections and experiences really reign for me.

I'm also happy to host my first CS surfers whenever someone needs it! Been ‘accepting guests’ for two years now but I guess not a lot of people want to come to Alberta lol. Do reach out if you’re in town!

**Quick explanation: back in 2015, one person gave me a bad reference. This was because it was my first time using the app and I didn't know that you had to cancel a request once you'd accepted another host's offer. I never scheduled to meet the person who gave me the review, but he waited for my reply and so thought that warranted a bad review. To each their own, but that's what happened and lesson learned!**

Interests

Kizomba is my personal project currently. It takes me into ethereal space as well as into the micro-cosmos of all that makes up my body. Started dance classes in 2024 and am going strong, attending festivals around the world and diving deep. I am in love! If you're into movement and/or an adventurer open to new experiences, come with me for a class or social, the communities tend to be super fun and welcoming.

Other than this I like activities that promote a state of flow: no mind, yum! Physical exercise, dance, meditation, running....also reading, movies, having conversations, exploring, travelling...and delicious, nutritious food food food! And way too much true crime, unfortunately.
