CURRENT MISSION
Update 2023-have been away from couchsurfing for a loong time. Will update profile sometime soon. So in case You read my profile-information have some Time-stamps on it!

As I have been kind of away from couchsurfing for about 4 years...wow - really that long... I miss it. A lot:) So - I am on the task to open up myself again to marvelous world of couchsurfing and meeting people from all around world in this community.

Another mission - remember how it is to go to palces You've never been, meeting people and challenges You've never met and - breathing in everything new with excitement about what it brings and how it changes myself :)

ABOUT ME

Firstly - I do LOVE my job (that's dancing)! During some years I have been working on cruise ship in Baltic sea, and since April 2013 (until January 2015), I had been involved with circus (traveling through Sweden in summer season and having shows in Amsterdam and Stockholm during winter/Christmas/New Years period). So - I truly enjoy everything multi-cultural and different!
ANd - I kind of take my responsibilities quite seriously, but I also like having good time.
If I want something really badly - I guess - I go for it! At least then I don't have to think: "what if I would have done this or that!?" well - at least I try to follow this :)
And it seems that I just can't keep to stay in one place too long - starting January 2012 I have been all over and my journey hasn't ended jet!

PHILOSOPHY

I like the idea of changing and developing. That every day brings us new emotions, new experience and every day leaves it's marks in your personality, life and affects the way you see the world.
And - I think that my life is generally about accepting myself and others through every day experience and personal challenges!!!:)
And I'm learning to be more honest with myself and people around (meaning - to share my thoughts and feelings instead of silence and just being awkward :D)- so one more philosophy - "Brutal honesty" :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN

For now I have only used others hospitality and I'm really enjoying it, but hope to help other travelers some day as well :)

EXPERIENCE

I have met pretty amazing people through couch surfing while me (solo) and with my friend were travelling in USA almost all of those trips - New York, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tampa, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, Seattle, Portland, San Diego... this year also a bit in Europe - Barcelona, Lagos, Copenhagen, London, Tenerife - being blessed to find good people who shared not only their homes, but time and in some cases I can tell - friendship:) Hope that one day I will be able to do the same to others, but it seems that currently I'm more in moving through the world and re-locating position... :)

Interests

Since 16/17 my life has been pretty much all around and about dancing! And - after 17 years studying non stop I finally took some time off after graduating University to see a bit more of world not stressing about studies or other things, so - then we will see where life will take me, hoping not to stop dancing wherever I will be!:)

Also art, music and emotions are big part of me. and well - I do love travelling - that's why I'm here:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually I can't imagine my life without books, music and movies because I love learning about new stories, new feelings that brings every movie, book or a song that I like.
After period of reading heavy academical stuff during UNI period, I'm on "easy literature" now:) - like novels, but I've always loved Paolo Coelju books, Jane Eyre and Sarah Waters.
And music I listen depending on mood, but I love songs that makes me feel more alive (weather it's slow jazz ballad or heavy metal). Currenty - on my playlist is mostly - Lykke Li, Lorde, Regina Spektor, The XX

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that most amazing thing still is my trip to Hollywood in 2009 and seeing dance world there, and well yeah - the amazing opportunity to be in a dance class of Sonya Tayeh:)
Also - my second trip to USA that I went with my friend in January/February 2012 - amazing experience. And 3 months that I spent after that in London (more like living and working ), but every second of it was priceless (hard or breathless and beautiful):)
My 3rd USA trip - 2 months solo - just exploring and - relaxing !
And - discovering the wonderful and crazy life of circus!! :)
And I believe a lot of amazing things are jet to come - wherever in the world it might be:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well - I do make sushi (sometimes) :)
Can always teach You some latvian and russian.

I have been a bartender for last 3 years, so I probably can teach You a cocktail or two:)

And always forever - dance and music - there is sooo much to learn about that!!!!

And I can always share some of my travel/ stories. Plus - circus life has added new "flavour" to work&travel .
