ABOUT ME

i am nearly a grown up, curly haired, half french half irish, an epicurean... i love: everything new and different,,keeping plants alive for more than 6 months, my walk to work, forgetting what day it is, hendricks gin,feeling i'm on holiday when i'm not, my gnome family, trees, massage chairs in airports, laughing until i cry and cant breathe, people who make me think, skipping, kinder surprise eggs, being child like, brightly coloured nail polish, twister - although no-one will ever play it with me

PHILOSOPHY

i have decided recently that its all about doing things that make you feel alive and finding things that are good for your soul...this can range from the mundane to the extreme i.e. from making a banana cake to bungee jumping 195 m off a bridge..i am a very open person...you will get a good idea of who i am quite quickly..in psychobabble i strive for personal authenticity...i love people who
are genuine and honest and know who they are and where they want to go ( even if they have no idea how to get there)...i need people around me who make me think.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so far my main contribution has been offering my spare room...and some traditional swiss dishes e.g fondu and raclette!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some of my best couch surfing experiences by simply sitting on my balcony - sharing a meal and listening to stories...
I have couchsurfed in morocoo, thailand, vietnam...when i travel i feel like i have a friend in every town..who could ask for more?

Interests

riding around Geneva on my beautiful bicycle, hiking in the mountains, twister, trying to be more french, cooking exotic things i have not made before, I have just discovered snow shoeing and it is amazing, I have not laughed so hard in a long time as you look really silly when you walk!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a hole in the blow up mattress I use for hosting couch surfers, with the help of lovely, we found the hole and repaired it with my bike repair kit, I thought that was pretty amazing!

a great line to use to pick up someone in italy...'quando sono con te, il mio cuore batte forte..forte...' it means ' when i am with you, my heart beats very quickly'
works like a charm on the romantic italians, has also proved successful on the spanish...
