About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Know thyself. Admire the given things.
ABOUT ME
We (my wife Alina and myself) joined this club only in summer 2009, but we have been members of hospitality club since 2004, hence, allowing an acquisition of extensive experience hosting and being guests ourselves.
We will respond positively to all strongly motivated, personalized and detailed requests. However, at the moment we are raising two little naughty girls, born in 2011 and 2013, so there is no peace and quiet in our home. We think we will open up as soon as we realize they've become less naughty and more responsible. However, it would be a great idea to meet other families with kids of similar age somewhere in the city.
Our idea about this club (alongside other clubs alike) is that, above all, it provides an opportunity of meeting new people from all over the world and making new exciting acquaintances and friends. Such activity promotes mutual understanding and tolerance among individuals of various cultures, nations and races, opinions and attitudes, not to mention social groups and ages. It opens up borders among people and invites them to communicate and share their personalities. Hosting assistance is important too, but is only a complimentary feature and thus should be approached as a secondary subject of the request.
PHILOSOPHY
to me each time segment (a day, an hour, a minute, a second or a microsecond) is a minilife. I believe that some of the most important and most meaningful things in life can be squeezed into such time segments. if only we're able to notice the magic and profoundness in some of the basic things in our immediate surroundings. to achieve that I try to view the surrounding world and life from a rare angle or point of view and a particular state of mind. and all that might just easily protect me from ever feeling bored or turning into an ordinary, blunt, emotionless consumer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing in my life happens every early morning: the feeling of the freshness of the air touching my face, the ability of watching the sky and the trees and the grass, the sensing of my live and able body and the overwhelming awareness of my soul's immortality. The euphoria out of the simplicity of being alive.
Teach, Learn, Share
Here are several tips that I think will increase your chances to receive a positive response to the request for hosting:
0. Make sure that your profile is abundant with information and has no negative,
discriminating or insulting information. If you are unable to host anyone,
provide the reason.
1. In your request ALWAYS address the person by his/her name.
2. Make a long, comprehensive and sincere introduction of yourself and the goal
of your trip in the first letter. Do all you can to build up a sense of trust in
you.
3. The key message in your first letter should NOT be that you need a PLACE TO
SLEEP but that you are interested in the PERSONALITY you're writing to. And only
at the end of the message try to gently approach the subject of hosting.
4. Fill ALL the fields of the first message.
5. Contact people 3-2 months in advance. Begin with the ones who have logged in
most recently.
6. Contact almost ALL of the active people in the point of your destination.
Later after you receive the replies you will choose whom to select as your host.
7. Avoid first contacting people using skype or phone, or email. This should
only be done in case of emergency.
