Overview
About Me
I am a dentist from Germany who loves traveling, meeting new people, and discovering new cultures and countries. I have great respect for people who are kind enough to host guests, and I truly appreciate their openness and hospitality.
At the same time, I value other people’s time and independence. I am very comfortable exploring a city on my own, making my own plans, or spending time alone when needed. I believe this balance makes traveling and hosting experiences pleasant and easy for everyone involved.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a way for me to meet new people, make genuine connections, and learn from locals. I really enjoy getting local tips, recommendations, and insights about the places I travel to — things you would never find in a guidebook.
Since I usually travel solo, I find that traveling completely alone can feel quite boring. It is much more meaningful to share experiences, meet people, and build friendships around the world. This way, every place I visit leaves warm memories connected to the people I met there.
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about staying at someone’s place and then forgetting each other. It is about making new friends, creating real connections, and knowing that you are welcome in different parts of the world — and also being happy to offer hospitality in my own country.
An important note for men sending messages: Couchsurfing is not a dating platform. It is a community for meeting new friends, cultural exchange, and mutual respect.
Interests
I love an active lifestyle. I enjoy cycling and also surfing — a few times a year I travel to Morocco or Indonesia to surf. I’m passionate about all kinds of events and love long walks. I also enjoy visiting exhibitions, going to bars or restaurants, and cooking together.
I have many different interests, and I’m always curious to try new things. I’m fascinated by languages and love learning them, and I enjoy exploring new cultures wherever I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a music lover with a very broad taste — I enjoy many different genres and especially love discovering music from other cultures. I speak three languages: English, German, and Russian, and I also enjoy listening to music in all of these languages.
When it comes to movies, I’m just as open-minded: I enjoy everything from comedies to horror films. In general, I am very open to new experiences, ideas, and perspectives.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At the moment, I’m not able to host guests at my place, but I hope this will change in the future.
What can I share with the people I stay with or meet? I can share how to cook Russian dishes, teach or practice Russian or German, and exchange travel experiences — I’ve visited many countries around the world and am always happy to share tips and stories. I can also give a dental tip (just kidding 😄).
I’m always open to helping with everyday things as well — cooking together, grocery shopping, or helping with cleaning. I believe mutual support and small shared moments are what make the Couchsurfing experience special.
