ABOUT ME

Me? I am an easy going person. Me gusta a aprender muchas cosas... Me encanta hablar en espanol!
I love to laugh, and to charlar con mis amigos.
I like to bike around the Winnipeg, embroider my heart out when I am home and to engage in stimulating conversation. Recently I've become a huge fan of ancient alien theories and could watch the history channel about this for hours! I can't swim but I do love to head to Birds Hill Park. I can skate like the wind, and love to play Frisbee too.

My husband, Alejandro, loves anything "futbol" (soccer) related and would likely try any type of sport at least once! He is bilingual in Spanish and English, and I keep trying to convince him to learn Portugese so that we can go to Brazil for the next world cup! He is the quiet one, and I am the chatty one, but he warms up after a while!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking forward to meeting people, on my home turf or theirs! This world is amazing, and I just want to do my part to make it into a true community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a lovely bunch of folks in Oaxaca, Ciudad Victoria, and San Luis Potosi! Had a great time, and they are more than welcome to crash here with me, for sure! I offered to host a New Yorker here in WInnipeg, but he loved his first host so much, he decided to stay with them! I totally understand... there are some AWESOME people here in Winnipeg. We haven't had the opportunity to host here yet, as our place is kinda small, but we will be ready for the first suitable guest!

I can teach someone to cross stitch! Would love to trade for an embroidery lesson. I also know how to two step (Manitoba style) and would trade for some lessons of anything else.
Plus if you can CUMBIA we can dance together! Me encanta cumbia!
