ABOUT ME

I am an American with parents who moved to Califorina from India. Therefore, I am American with Indian roots :) I grew up in Northern California and then moved to New York City for college where I studied Psychology and French and Francophone Studies. I also had a slight detour where I studied abroad in Grenoble, France for four months. After living and working at a school in Newark, NJ for a few years, I am now in Santa Barbara, CA for a Ph.D. in School Psychology.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to go wherever the wind takes me. And I eat a lot.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having experienced couch surfing while in Europe, I think it's a great idea. However, because I live in an apartment with a bunch of other people, it is currently difficult for me to host. I would love to keep couchsurfing when traveling, and show people around/grab coffee if they are in my area!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went couchsurfing in Geneva, Switzerland, and it was awesome!

I love to dance, sing (even if it sounds bad), take pictures, sight see aka be a tourist, learn new languages, talk to people, read books, eat food, and try new things.

I recently drove up to Madras, OR to watch the total solar eclipse, and it was incredible!
