ABOUT ME

I'm a globe trotter. I've spent a total of a year and a half living in France as a nanny and another two and a half years living in Reunion working as a language assistant in public schools and high schools. I'd like to keep traveling, either to Guadeloupe, Martinique, Vietnam, or Indonesia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up until now I've mostly just hosted. Looking forward to surfing. Everyone that I've met has been incredible!

Interests

I love lots of different things: animals, adventure, rainy days, chocolate and coffee, arts and crafts, wine, mojitos, writing, reading, listening to music, dancing, board games, playing tennis, snorkeling, skiing, hiking AND hitch-hiking, camping, cooking/experimenting with recipes, baking, teaching, learning about other cultures, exploring the world, night swimming, campfires, roadtrips, learning languages, meeting new people, discovering how the world works, watching movies, laughing, and much more

Movies/ TV Shows: I don't watch a lot of TV but I love Dexter, and I don't mind the occasional episode of How I met Your Mother. J'aime bien Bref aussi sur canalplus et Les Beaux Mecs.Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Gardenstate, Requiem for a Dream, Slumdog Millionaire, Auberge espagnole, Bienvenue chez les ch'tis, Rien à déclarer, etc.Music: Mumford and Sons, coldplay, red hot chili peppers, deathcab for cutie, blue rodeo, Indochine, Bensé, M, Renan Luce, Matchbox 20, Our Lady Peace, Début de Soirée, System of a down, Metric, The Shins, CCR, The Fray, The Strokes, Francis Cabrel, Keane, Tryo, Johnny Cash, the Beatles, Gaetan Roussel, Louise Attaque, Oasis, etcBooks: The Alchemist, White Tiger, Blink I'll read pretty much anything that I can get my hands on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a safari in India and saw a wild tiger from on top of an elephant, which was incredible. Also managed to attend a lecture given by the Dalai Lama in New Dehli when I was in India in 2010. Overall it was an amazing trip!

I'd like to learn Spanish and Creole. I like to go on hikes and explore.
