Overview
About Me
I'm a Californian living in Paris for a year. It has always been my dream to live in Europe, so I'm making the most of it by traveling and experiencing as many cultures + places as possible. I consider myself positive, open, friendly and respectful. I appreciate the simple things in life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new friends on my travels and am always open to your insights + advice on where to go and what to do. As a traveler on a budget I am ever grateful for people who open their homes for my stay, the gesture of sharing ensures I will meet like-minded people
Interests
I love making things - I design and hand-make leather sandals + handbags. Working with my hands is what makes me feel good. I also really love contemporary art, science, nutrition, yoga, and nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything by the director richard linklater, also love a good rom-com. and I have a very eclectic taste in music - I can appreciate most anything and love to be introduced to new music.
some favorite books: the bell jar, the power of now, anything by david sedaris, tiny beautiful things, the alchemist, walden, anything by Joan didion
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Kalalau trail in hawaii - 22 miles of beautiful but very strenuous & treacherous backpacking. Sleeping in a cave on the beach made it worth the hard work
Teach, Learn, Share
I love playing games and am always down to learn new ones. If you would like to know anything about sandal-making or leather work, just ask :)
