ABOUT ME
Friendly, confident, brave, nonconformist, loyal, social, genuine.
Easy-going, flexible, compassionate, open-minded, accepting of all.
I am independent but have no problem asking for help (directions, advice, etc.), and I like being around people too. I definitely have a strong sense of adventure, and I know how to have fun.
My dad taught me the importance of generosity, and I think being generous isn't about having a lot of money.
I'm good at staying in touch and keeping friends and I try to do unto others as I'd have done unto me.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't settle.
A necessary cliche: Actions speak louder than words.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I meet people who are interested in traveling, I praise couchsurfing. I encourage them to go to the site and sign up!
I've been couchsurfing throughout South America, and I cannot believe how amazing my experiences have been.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a couple of times but surfed tons throughout my South American trip.
Love the community.
Interests
I love coffee, sweet things, freshly laundered clothes, cool sheets, dreams that I remember when I wake up, cooking, reading, writing. I like a good cry, connecting, the beach, being crazy when the moment's right. I love memories, taking pictures, seeing what other people are reading, falling in love. I love to travel, meet new people, drink wine on Argentinean bus rides, have a beer while cooking. Oh, and I love eating. I probably should have said that first. One of life's greatest pleasures: food!
I live in NY, so I am interested in lots of things: small theatre, photography, hashing, film, exploring new neighborhoods, meeting new people who share the same passion as I do for New York City, which I consider the greatest city on the planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling by myself around South America.
Quitting my job to travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
If I'm hosting: I'll make you a damn good cup of coffee, take you on a run in the park, introduce you to my favorite books, tell you where to find the best cupcake, slice of pizza, cookie, dumpling--whatever, in the city.
And when I'm surfing, I'll take you out for a beer or if I'm staying for a while, and there's time, I'll make my special brownies or something rico. I'm happy to practice english with you (if you want). I'll probably ask you lots of questions about where to find the best food or drink in your city, and I'll want to practice my Spanish.
