About Me

Hi there!

I'm Stacey, nice to meet you! I'm a compassionate human with a love of food (animal free), people, life, and opportunity. I'm currently building my own business which is one of the most difficult things I've ever done in my life, I'm 29 soon to hit the big 3-0, have a partner who's incredibly intelligent, witty and can hold a conversation for hours. I love to host dinners, generate ideas, and share knowledge with passionate people. I'd love to meet you and cook you dinner 😄🙏

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just found out about couchsurfing after spending a few months living in different air bnb's, but what I found was that the hosts would try and avoid you as much as possible and I think they were doing it for the wrong reasons. I feel like couchsurfing is more about community and it's a give and take system where I can give back when I can too. I would love to meet people from all walks of life, I find in todays culture it's all about avoiding people as much as possible and I think it's leading us into more and more depression. I know I have gifts to share and I know I can help people.

Interests

I love animals, conversation, food, cooking, cake, music, writing, reading, watching netflix if I have the time, building, creating, curating, storytelling, cups of tea, breakfast... I could go on. 😄

Here's a list of other things I love:

- Fresh white linen
- Kneading and rolling dough
- A hard floor (no creaks)
- Bunnies (plural)
- The sound of a coffee grinder
- Riding a pushbike
- 90s RnB
- Earth worms
- Goggly eyes
- Being part time amish (making my own soap)
- Any movie with Bruce Willis
- Borrowers
- Chips n gravy
- And this one might sound cliché but I love a mixed drink at sun down
