About Me
"The world is round. The place that may seem like the end may only be just the beginning."
A beautiful woman shared this quote with me on my first overseas adventure at the age of sixteen, and it has always stuck with me and I see this trip as just the beginning of something wonderful in my life. Currently embarking on my dream trip through Central and South America and looking forward to many new beginnings on this journey!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in the notion of being a responsible traveller, and part of this is living locally. From everything that I have heard, Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet people and experience the local culture. I am passionate about meeting the people who make up the community that I am visiting.
I am currently learning to speak Spanish, and so would be grateful to learn the language from native Spanish speakers. I hope to share part of the Australian culture with those that I get the privilege of meeting through Couchsurfing!
Interests
Travelling, photography, reading, sport, eating amazing food!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: 80's & 90's pop / rock (lame, I know!!), but I do generally like a variety of older and new music. It is usually just the song that grabs me rather than a particular artist.

Books: Too hard to choose! We need to talk about Kevin sticks out
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked to Everest Base Camp. Easily the most difficult and craziest thing I have ever done, but the journey itself taught me so much about myself, and about life in general.
