Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a traveling nurse who moves around the country every 3 months for a new assignment. It can be pretty hard setting up furnished housing over the internet before even moving to a new city, so I thought I would try CS for a few days in each place I move to while I find a more permanent place to live while I work.

Also, I have a passion for exploring each new assignment I get, and surfing while out and about adventuring allows me to meet new people along the way : )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted two guys I met out at a local climbing crag. It was a very random but amazing experience! It made me confident in the couch surfing world and led me to CS myself in Minneapolis with a friend in 2013. Again, another amazing experience. I'm hooked on CS now and have surfed couches across the states while on assignment. It's the best way to travel and meet new people : )

Interests

Anything outdoors: rock climbing, hiking, swimming, running, biking, snowboarding, rafting, camping, backpacking, etc! I like watching movies, dancing, chilling at bonfires, grilling out, and anything else that has a social atmosphere.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I travel all around the US for my job and my housing situation is different at every location. But if I have a place to myself, definitely game for hosting and getting to know some rad strangers : )
