Hellooo, I'm Stacey, a 30 y/o French Canadian.

I am pretty passionate about life and every living organism composing life. As I get older, I get closer to my truth, closer to my heart, closer to the essence of life. I prefer the wisdom I gain over the youth of the body (I know I'm still young, but you get the point). I also love getting more in touch with my inner child, playing with life and experiencing it in a raw, vulnerable and intimate way.

Apart from that, I sold all my stuff and left home to travel Australia in November 2023. It's a whole new era for me as I've never left home for so long. I'm living a life i didn't even know i dreamed of, just following my intuition and letting to road guide me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In our modern society, we are told to believe it is safer to be individualistic and to hold on tight to our belongings in order to "protect ourselves", but as humans, that just isn't our true essence, we are social beings, we thrive when we are surrounded, when we care for and are cared for. True wealth is found in community, in meaningful connections, that's what I believe and that is why I am here. I want to experience life in a different way than I was thought.

Currently listening to "Conversations with God" which really isn't a religious book. I was skeptic but I am so glad i gave it a try 👌

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I did an ice bath, it was -22°C outside (which is equal to -7,6°F). I went in without flinching, remained relaxed and in control, stayed for 1 minute and casually walked out, and felt so amazing. I was pretty impressed by myself.
