ABOUT ME

Stacey: Age 32, primary school teacher. I love salsa dancing, walking in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, socialising, camping, spending time with my family and friends, and meeting new and interesting people. I have always had a strong urge to travel but due to circumstances and finances I haven't got very far so far, hopefully couchsurfing will change that!

Rory: I'm 4 years old and I have just started school. I love meeting new people, especially people who like to play with my toys with me or read me a story!

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy and try to make each other happy along the way, life is too short.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted some amazing people so far and are looking forward to meeting lots more lovely people through couchsurfing and hopefully to surfing some couches ourselves.

兴趣

Stacey: Salsa dancing, music, reading, camping, walking, socialising, eating, drinking, talking, learning especially about languages and culture.

Rory: playing with my cars and trains, watching Toy Story and Finding Nemo, reading and walking in the opposite direction to the way mummy wants me to go.

Movies: Stand By Me, Amélie, Moulin Rouge, True Romance.
Music: Salsa music, country and western music (I blame my parents!), I like to improve my french by listening to french music, I also like anything cheesy that you can sing along to.
Books: The God Delusion and anything by Bill Bryson or Peter Robinson.

Rory
T.V: SpongeBob Squarepants.
Music: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, The Animal Fair, Michael Finnegan. Oh yeah and Dolly Parton!?
Books: The Gruffalo, Barry the Fish with Fingers and Calm Down Boris.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Having my wonderful, beautiful son, Rory, is the most amazing thing I've done. I hope to share lots more amazing things with him. He is an angel.

Stacey: I love learning words in other languages. At the moment French is the only foreign language I am fairly fluent in but I can speak a small amount of German, Spanish and Italian and I would love to learn more. Couchsurfers are welcome to join my salsa class or come walking with us to see the beautiful Yorkshire dales.
