ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing and friendly... always on the lookout for new experiences and meeting as many interesting new people as possible!! I believe everyone you meet has an impact on who you become and Ive been lucky emnough through CS to meet some truly lovely people.

I am very laid back and easy to please... im just as happy partying till 3am as i am taking a quiet walk or chilling out on the sofa.

I speak spanish reasonably well (but out of practice)and a tiny bit of french (GCSE) but i really enjoy languages and want to learn more of the ones i already know and some of those that i dont.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is full of friends i am yet to meet :)

Also. I read this the other day and it really resonated with me: 'If the grass is always greener on the other side, try watering yours'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfed for the first time in madrid and barcelona, summer 2007 and had the best time! Me and my housemate kate went to cadiz/jerez/tarifa in june 2008 and loved it. Travelled back to Madrid in July 2008 and stayed with Jorge who was also awesome! Cant wait for my next adventure... but in the meantime hoping to get more involved with the Southampton CS scene.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Spain a few times and my hosts were all lovely. Met some other great people along the way.... fun times!
Been to a number of Southampton CS events - always met some really interesting people and had good tea and cake!

Interests

I'll try anything once! I love Yoga, Climbing, reading, dancing like a crazy thing, chilling out, baking, exploring new places. I like anything outdoorsy and love trying new things... In February I resolved to learn to climb & I now go pretty much every week... So I just need to figure out what my new skill for 2010 will be. Ideas on the back of a postcard please!

Music, Movies, and Books

This sounds a bit stuffy but I really love films and books that broaden my cultural horizons. I like to learn something from watching a film or reading a book. However, I am a sucker for silly humour too :)

Music wise, my taste is very diverse, from Paramour to Kings of Leon, to VV Browne, to La Roux, to Chase & Status. Basically anything that has a good beat & can get me either dancing or singing!

well.... i know alot of useless but intriguing stuff which im sure will come up in conversation. i can share my language (English). I love cooking, not necessarily English dishes though!
