I feel most at home in the south. I grew up in NJ but nobody believes me when I tell them. I enjoy going camping and traveling. In Fresno, we have a great garden and three backyard chickens. I'm a poet. I work best surrounded by art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have good friends who have had great experiences both surfing and hosting and would love to be a part of this! Affordable travel is key. I would love to host people and show them the amazing part of Fresno, which usually gets a bad rap and connect on a personal/artistic level as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Asheville, NC and hosted at my mom's house when I lived with her in NJ.

Music, Movies, and Books

i've read lots of thomas pynchon, sandra cisneros, kevin young, tom wolfe, jack kerouac, beth ann fennelly, rumi via coleman barks, jericho brown, gloria anzaldua, hunter thompson.

i've seen good movies, but i like bad 80s action flicks. i don't have the attention span for most movies.

i like futurama but don't have a TV. when i do, i watch the discovery, history, & science channels.

i hold james brown first in my heart. i like to keep it funky--deep banana blackout style. i listen to galactic, the dead, iron & wine, phish, umphreys, interpol, particle, the cure, pixies, and spoken word

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've climbed lots of tall buildings in french cities, including the eifel tower of paris, abandoned warehouses in new orleans (unfortunately i never made it up lee's butt), and the CN tower of toronto, which has a glass floor.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can make a mean omelet. the biggest one i ever made had 12 eggs.

i'm an event planner, and therefore have to be busy and involved. i will search out the best events & festivals & bring you along as a volunteer, bartender, whatever.

i want to learn glass blowing and paper making! and the trombone.

i enjoy sewing and knitting, especially making costumes. i can play guitar and bass, and enjoy latin percussion. shaker egg in pocket at all times.
