ABOUT ME

Hi my Name is Stacey and I love to meet friendly and open people from all different cultures. I am from New Zealand and I would like to say for the most part that we have a very open and accepting culture. I love learning about different cultures and travelling is one of my top priorities! I am 24 years young and wanting to go and see everywhere and everything! I'm interested in making some good friends on here so please feel free to send me a message. I will be heading to Italy in April 2014 and am keen to meet and stay with people if they will have me. Italians I would love to hear from you!

I believe in treating others the way you wish to be treated. Why waste your time and energy around people who are just going to bring you down?

I love to help others when I can. I love it when people appreciate and notice a nice gesture you may have done for them :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am about to move back with the parents to save money for my travels, but if someone would like a friendly person to show them round Auckland City for the day or a few days. I would be more than happy to show you around. I am keen to host people once I return from my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some brilliant couch surfing experiences so far and am liiking foward to many more :)

Interests

I have lots of interests. I love doing exciting outdoor things like hiking, nature things with animals or crazy adrenaline junkie things like bungee jumping and hang gliding.

I also love to learn about history. New Zealand is a very young country so in comparison to other countries it has a limited amount to learn about. I want to go and see many historic sites around the world!

I love food! Food is amazing and makes me happy. If we should meet up lets cook a delicious meal together!

I also love the usual things like seeing movies, shopping or just having a quiet night in. Nothing wrong with being a Nana sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm movies. Well I love light hearted movies. Comedy mainly. Call me childish but Disney is amazing :)

Music I am pretty easy going. I like easy listening, rock, pop whatever is going on the radio. Cold play, Jack Johnson and Beyonce are some of my fav artists currently.

I love reading. Light hearted comic books are my favourite kind. Or fantasy ones. Chocolate Lovers club is one of my favourite reads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favourite place I have been is to South America. If you are thinking of going my highlights were:

-Iguazu Falls
- Machu Pichu
- Honey Island in Brazil
- Rio
I have also briefly been to Orlando and Vegas in America. My highlights were:

- Feeding Flamingos
- Seeing the Grand Canyon

I have seen a number of great places in New Zealand. Highlights again include:

-Tongariro Crossing
- Coromandal (The pinnacles, hot water beach, cooks beach)
- Mt Taranaki
- Whangarei Heads
- All of Queenstown

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting with people who are excited to meet others from other cultures. I really appreciate people who would take the time to show others around a new place or who will sit down and have a meal with them.
