Hi, I’m Stacey! 🌍
I’m based in the Lowveld region of South Africa and run a conscious waste management company called Green Guru. I’m passionate about sustainability, community projects, and finding creative ways to make the world a little greener.
I’m married, and my husband is my travel buddy — we love heading out together, whether it’s hiking, being outdoors, or finding hidden spots off the beaten path.
Outside of work and travel, I enjoy good food, laughter, and connecting with people from all walks of life. For me, the best part of exploring new places is sharing stories and experiencing them through locals’ eyes.
I’m easy-going, curious, and always up for an adventure (or just a chilled evening with good conversation).

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is about people, not just places. For me, the best part of exploring new places is meeting locals, sharing stories, and getting a real feel for the culture. Hotels can’t give you that kind of connection.
I love the idea of exchanging experiences, building friendships across the world, and hopefully returning the kindness by hosting in the future.

We can share good vibes, laughs, and stories from life and travels in South Africa. My husband and I love cooking, so we’d be happy to make a simple meal (or at least chop veggies while you show us your favorite recipe ).
We’re always keen to pitch in — whether that’s helping around the house, running errands, or getting involved in any community or volunteer work you’re part of. Giving back is important to us, and we love the chance to be useful wherever we go.
And of course, we’re happy to share tips about South Africa — from the best safari spots to hidden gems in the Lowveld. Most of all, we can offer friendship, great conversations, and genuine curiosity about your world.
