ABOUT ME

If I were an animal, I think I’d be a combination of a raccoon, honey badger, and otter. Spirit and playfulness of an otter, the grit and perseverance of a honey badger, and the resourcefulness of a raccoon. If I were an object, I'd probably be a used box of crayons.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My cousin and I started to use Couchsurfing for our road trip we took in the summer (2012) across the U.S. We had no experience with the site and had started with one profile for the both of us. As we traveled, we branched off in having our own accounts. Couchsurfing MADE our trip. AND it was the "fire starter" for how I ended up moving to Seattle, WA for 3 months following our adventure. We had also watched the Couchsurfing app develop throughout the trip: it was a life saver!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had wonderful experiences and very interesting ones that make some great stories. This site is for not only having a place to sleep without being worried you will get a warning in a parking lot somewhere, but for LEARNING from the people you surf with! The stories and advice that you get to exchange is just an incredible way to enhance any travelers adventure and appreciate different ways of life. This site can totally take credit for changing my life. I have hosted, but sporadically, as I move around more than I sit still. I hope to have something more stable some day to host more regularly.
