ABOUT ME

well im pretty obsessed with North American Lit and am a huge fan of the Beat Generation. i love writing and reading poetry, 90s hip-hop and punk rock. i've been singing with my band (www.facebook.com/loscapitanes) for just under 8 years now and have been lucky enough to travel all over Australia playing shows and drinking verily. i love talking to strangers and meeting weird/interesting people, which means this site has been an absolute god send.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i sleep on couches and floors,
in hammocks and bathrooms,
under tables, sinks, streetlights and stars.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

spent a week with some amazing peeps at UCLA and just finished a stint with some lovely ladies in San Francisco.

had an incredible few weeks in Portland with some insane oregonians (the best kind of oregonian) and in fact plan to return to visit them before i head home.

new york city was EXTREME 2 DA MAXXX...millions of roof top parties, a drunken guest spot on columbia radio and an almost lunch with drew barrymore almost.

'illed in boston with some folkin awesome hippies (bam!) and then off to albany for more couch based awesomeness...

currently sitting at home staring intensely at my computer screen, psychically willing people to come surf my couch.

Movies: Anything by Woody Allen, Oliver Stone, the Coen Brothers, P.T. Anderson or Scorsese. HUGE studio ghibli fan, especially anything by Mayazaki...i also worship Seth Rogan and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as chubby demi-gods of the silver screen.

Books: Whatever I can get my hands on.
