About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To plug my band: WWW.MYSPACE.COM/BYRONSMUSIC

ABOUT ME

Tall, 'visionary philosopher' (according to spurious IQ test website looking for money). Father of 1. Care about everything too much.

PHILOSOPHY

Hate something change something make something better.

Live by a balance of what you feel and what you know.

Wave particle duality suggests that we are all fragments of a whole that could be only virtual, perceived and uncertain, or ACTUAL, and therefore IS both. Duality. Things could always be the other way. W/P duality may not exist - another duality of perception. We are condemned to a yes or no choice. Live to choose yes. Die to say no to No. Multiple universe theory is possible and therefore ANYTHING (including Theism and Atheism) can't be logically ruled out or in. Faith walks in at this point, don't try and deny it, even if you believe in determinism, that belief is itself a decision. Whatever & however you believe, your decisions form the path of your universe. It's not mine it's yours if you're looking out of your eyes. If you don't like it change it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Danni and Trine from Denmark stayed for a couple of nights, and caught my band in action. Nice peeps and so in love!! Natalia from Poland was nice and brought Wodka, which was a plus... Andrej from Russia is a cool thinker, who broke his arm by falling off a bike.

Interests

Rock'n'roll, tennis, bars, constructing intricate solve-all theories about the universe till reality reminds me that my theory has solved nothing, which is usually the most reassuring thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Terry Gilliam's Brazil is top of the list at the moment... The Edukators, The Graduate, Hitchcock, Lynch.

The Beatles, Stones, Doors, Hancock,

Tolkien, Kerouac, William Boyd.

Philosophy & Theology.

I like any stuff that intentionally brokers a deal between mainstream and niche. Art is political. Anything that does so unintentionally is of course even better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kalambo Waterfalls, tallest in Africa & constitute border between tanzania and Zambia, discoverable only after 5 hour guided walk! Camera broke as I tried to capture it. There's a reason why - go see it for yourselves.

Teach, Learn, Share

Er when it comes to practical things, I don't really know much. But for all beginners who are stuck for chords to their first song want nice sound from their guitars, try an E minor to C chord change ;-) For a comprehensive list see: www.guitarnotes.com/guitar/not es2/ultimate11.shtml

Countries I’ve Visited

Malawi, South Africa, Zimbabwe

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Germany, United Kingdom, Zambia
