Overview
About Me
I was born in Dallas, Tx but spend most of my childhood living in Hidalgo, Mexico. So, as a consequence English became my second language, had to learn it back in middle school. After school was over I venture out to Kentucky and southern Texas. I manage to get back to Dallas and stayed long enough to earn my nursing degree. As you can see I have a thing for exploring and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently taking a sabbatical and would like to explore new places. I would also like to meet new people and learn new things. I believe the best way to explore new places is to hang out with the locals. They always know where the hidden gems are located.
Interests
I love futbol aka soccer, one of my biggest passions. Funny thing is that I didn't start playing it till i was about 21. As a kid my face and my stomach were a magnet for the ball to the point that I was very discourage to play the game. One of my recent discoveries has been bouldering, something like rock climbing. I would climb a small wall without a rope, there is cushion mats called crash pads for whenever you fall, is better than rock climbing in a sense that you don't need a partner to hold you on a rope.

Music, Movies, and Books
Till this day the grates adventure I been in the land of my imagination has to be The Dark Tower series. It was written by Stephen King. I'm a huge fan of all his work, I'm currently reading 11/22/63 it is about the assassination of JFK.
Music wise I'm totally mainstream, pretty much anything that catches my ear. But some that I can listen for day is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Childish Gambino and Watsky. I always have my ears open for any new discoveries, not necessary brand new just something I haven't heard before.
I love movies that is all.
