Overview
About Me
34, a blend of solo travel or with my partner, Michael. Currently meandering off the beaten path of Iceland with a pit stop in the UK.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sharing a meal, a drink or a story with a local is the only way to truly experience a culture. Making a friend for life and swapping travel stories are the conversations and connections I live for.
Interests
I'm a counselor but right now my itch for travel doesn't lend itself to being at work as often as I should be. We also own and operate a marina on Lake Texoma in Texas. Yep, we have lakes in Texas!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve hiked Volcan de Fuego one week before it’s deadly eruption. Backpacked through Central America solo, twice. Caught and cooked fresh lobster -> lobster grilled cheese! Hitchhiked my way around Guatemala. Ridden camels through the Moroccan desert.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an adventurous cook, and always have something in mind to prepare for my hosts. Local shopping to source fresh ingredients is a must.
