I moved to London about 8 years ago to study film and ended up being captured by the double soul of this city: the chaos, the clash and dance of all these people, stories, countries, languages, I love how this spiral somehow makes you find yourself a little more or at least pushes you towards finding it. London is a bit like the world all together. Lots of bad stuff, but also lots of little gems spread out hidden in the matrix. And myself too I am a bit like this. A mix of chaos and quiet, passionate exuberant free expression but also quiet reflective and practical little ant who works his away through life, aware and conscious.

I spent February to July of this year volunteering on a Greek Island with an NGO providing education and activities to the refugee community there. I was also teaching them filmmaking and managing the cinema nights, now I am trying to get their films screened in some film festivals.

After returning to London I decided it was time to move on. So I came back to Milan where I am currently focusing on personal projects. Going back and forth from Athens where I am shooting a short doc about a young Afghan rapper.

In London I was living with 12 people in a warehouse community (of about 1500 people), all pretty much creative souls who found there a place to rest and feel a little more in a community, playing music till late, watching films, cooking and eating all together and such...

In general terms I like long walks, slowing time down a little when possible, long talks, long dinners, long films, long music track, long days, open minded friendly people, playing music as it comes, dancing wildly, reading, nature, travelling but with not too many plans... all the good stuff basically.

I used to host a lot more in the past, but now work and my nomadic life make it harder, but still think is one of best way to travel. Fuck Airbnb :)
