Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning alchemy, make gold out of lead so I can afford a trip around the world!
ABOUT ME
Studied geography and urban planning in Groningen, studied marine science in Northern Ireland for a while and then spent a summer in Minnesota working in a special needs camp. Currently in Germany, doing a masters degree on Water & Coastal Management. I am a scout through and through, have an opinion on literally everything and prefer to have people around me all the time.
PHILOSOPHY
It's good to have an end to journey towards, but it's the journey that matters, in the end (Hemingway)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently not hosting but would love to meet some other surfers or host around the Oldenburg Area!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite experience: Arriving in Baltimore where I volunteered in a gardening project, explored the sewer system and played hide and seek in the university without seeing a single thing of the city. These things make the difference between couchsurfing and hostels!

Teach, Learn, Share
As an urban planning major, I know quite a lot of things about cities in general and especially about Groningen; I use to do city tours for international students and I think I can explain most things about the infrastructure and urban planning in the Netherlands. I'm very interested in water management and everything that has to do with rivers and coastal zones!
