Hello everyone out there! This is Stas (mostly, responsible for the couchsurfing activity) and Dasha (mostly responsible for choosing our destination and for being an inspiration for our travels). We are both from Russia! We live in the city of Rostov-na-Donu, which is approximately 700 miles from Moscow to the South. Our city is a local regional center with one million people. Stas (me) was born and raised in Rostov , but Dasha is originally from a little town of Noviy Urengoy in Siberia (about 2500 miles away from Rostov). This town is quite a remarkable place to live in! Only about 50 miles to the polar circle! So, both of us run a little dance studio and a street food place in Rostov. Dasha is also a choreographer and a dancer. Stas teaches English.

We are happy to share this philosophy of self-travelling, which actually erases the borders between the cultures, the peoples and the countries, we haven't been fortunate enough to host anyone yet, but when there is opportunity, we will be happy to do it!

Intereses

Since we know each other during 8 years already, we pretty much share the same interests, but still we are quite different. I love photography and videofilming, languages and travelling, I enjoy teaching. I am also into different things like astronomy, physics and other nerdy stuff (but I am not going to be talking about that all day:-) ) As for my wife, obviously she is into choreography and dancing, she participates workshops and teaches. That's her 'hobby' during almost 20 years, as I remember! She loves travelling as well. She is also into fashion and other 'girly' things)) We both like good music and wondering through the streets of new cities where we have never been before.

Música, películas y libros

As for that, due to the lack of time, because of our demanding jobs, we dedicate much more time to listening to music than to watching films or reading books. As for music, well, not anyone would like it but we share the same interest towards trap and rap music, Dasha also likes artisits like Beyoncé or Rihanna. I enjoy some Russian artists as well but probably due to the fact that I teach English I am more into the American or English speaking artists. I will take responsibility to say that both me and my wife love reading good books, but we need to get the right mood set for this activity

Well, that's a difficult question, I remember being a student I walked about 10 miles back home (first that comes into my mind :-) ) I can't help mentioning that our trip to the US when we were teenagers (I've already met my wife and we went together but we were only friends back then) was the one amazing thing we've done. Up to this moment we still remember like it was yesterday our adventures in the US even though it happened in 2011 and 2010

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We have a drone that is very likely to be travelling with us, so we can go somewhere and fly a drone that will record everything and later we can share this videos and photos with the hosts:-)
We definitely can share our life experience, talk about our cultures and families, our interests and dreams, we are pretty extrovert!
