Hey, what's up! My name is Stan and I'm a wanderer from Czechia. I'm an optimistic crazy guy who can't just sit idle and do nothing. (except meditating of course!) Last couple of years I've been visiting bunch of places, meeting many cool(sometimes dangerous) people and experiencing even more and that's the main reason why I joined this site... in hope to meet more amazing people(not the dangerous ones), hear their stunning stories and of course create some brandy new together. Also I'm really exited about languages and I'd like to improve my German and what else.. just live the moment.

I started traveling two years ago when I failed in my business, broke up with my ex-girlfriend and just needed to make a huge line after all that had happened. So the best solution was going abroad. :) The first destination was Scotland and for somebody, who had never been even 100km far away from home, with almost no knowledge of English(well, they don't really speak it either), it was a really tough one. After few months listening to other languages and being independent I totally fell in love with that kind of life.

I did Erasmus on Madeira, met even crazier and more gorgeous people, then lived in few other countries, found a girlfriend abroad, finally dropped out of the university and decided to leave Czechia with no thinking of coming back.

I burned the chains, got a total freedom, met more amazing people, experienced more fantastic moments etc.
I think it would be really boring to write it all here. (let's keep something for later!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Alredy answered above. I love traveling and mostly because of one thing --> well everything is new, people, culture and nature.

Couchsurfing site is like a sieve so it reveals the true travelers and these people are always interesting (mainly because they're open minded and don't live on a small sandbox )

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of Punk Rock-Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne (just a fan, not a fanatic) but also love calm music to meditate.

Not really interested about movies, maybe sometimes to improve my languages skills so cartoons-->easy to learn, or later fantasy movies. Sometimes I watch stand up comedy shows (Gabriel Inglesias)

I've read lot of self development books but got tired of those as it's all the same in the end. I used to read world of warcraft based books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I'm not sure if amazing could count as stupid, if the answer is yes then I'd find many many things.

I'm a crazy person so finding me playing on ukulele in a forest(with 1m of snow), running during the thunderstorm, jumping naked to a super cold lake next to random hikers or just trying to surf a 2,5m wave without knowing how to surf(oh, I got smashed like a piece of paper :D), is actually kinda normal to me. But I'm a human and I can be also really calm and relaxed around a similar enviroment.
