ABOUT ME
I'm studying at Brno to be an interpreter from and to Russian. I'm keen on travelling and living in other countries. I love music, books, coffee, beer and good healthy (organic) food. I can't live without mountains. Ideal summer is that which is full of hiking.
I really enjoy having a chat with my guests or hosts, it's nice to enjoy a breakfast or go to a pub in the evening, but I don't like huge noisy parties with loads of people, so please bear this in mind.
Please don't send me copy paste messages, I never accept people that don't even read my profile. I always think carefully before sending a couchrequest, because I think it's necessary to click with your guest/host, not just crash on their couch.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host people in my home town in Brno. I often go for various trips with my surfers, if i have a time, and if my surfers are willing to do that.
If I have no possibility to host I can show around or have a coffee.
When I'm traveling I enjoy having a chat and a cup of coffee with my host, but I don't insist on showing me around.
Interests
Snoozing in a train on the way to distant country :-) Staring from window of that train and reading when i'm fed up with staring. Then snoozing again, staring again, reading again... Ideal duration - 5 days :)
Apart from that I really like reading (I mostly read Russian literature because my field of studies, but I also like to Czech and Serbian authors. If you can recommend a good author from your country I'll be happy to learn something new. I can definitely recommend plenty of good Czech books that were even translated into English.
I also like classical music, so if you're into classical music it can happen that you'll go to a concert with my boyfriend and I. We're not really into the club scene, so don't expect this kind of recommendations :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Anything I do is amazing :-)
But recently I especially enjoyed that I've heard the end of Symphony No. 8 by Mahler, I've seen the view from St. Jerome Mountain in Montserrat Natural Park (Barcelona) and from the Rysy hill is Slovak Tatra mountains. And yesterday I had a nice cup of "yogi" tea in Brno's cafe Zastavka.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Czech for foreigners (and Russian for non-russians:), so if you wish I can teach some Czech/Russian phrases :-) I also can teach you how to drink beer like a Czech (in fact my boyfriend will definitely teach you this skill). I can tell you a bit about my country and town (but I'm not very good at history, so don't expect a proper lecture :-). If you are interested in translation studies I can give you a proper lecture, because I'm teaching it at the Brno university. But it could be a bit boring :D
