Hey, I'm Stan(islav), I currently live in Geneva and work as a machine learning engineer for the Blue Brain Project.

Before that I studied in Erlangen and Munich in Germany, and did my PhD in Southampton in the UK.

Whenever I have time I try to enjoy the things I like, meet new people, and get involved here and there. I play for an ice hockey team here in Geneva, go to the gym every now and then, try to get out in the mountains for snowboarding and hiking whenever I can.

Another passion of mine are languages. I was lucky enough to have two first languages, and to have to opportunity to learn some more at Uni. My current challenge is to learn Chinese, though the current progress is a bit slow.

Discovering new people is great. Every single person is great in some way, and finding this out is what makes me happy every time I host people or get hosted.
