I'm new to Couchurfing but have heard great things and am excited to try it out during my cross-country motorcycle trip this summer. I'm an environmental science and programming student studying at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and just finished up my junior year. This summer I'm headed west on my motorcycle to Seattle for my summer internship. In Seattle I will be doing aquaculture research relating to efficient waste management in recirculating systems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do have a tent and sleeping bag with me but sometimes it's nice to have a couch to sleep on for a change. Plus meeting people to swap stories and share adventures with is half the fun of a trip like this.

Interests

Swimming, rock climbing, motorcycle riding, technology, working with electronics, and wasting too much time on Reddit. I also enjoy doing research on aquaponics (a method of growing produce and raising fish in a closed loop system).
