Overview
About Me
I'm a young, recently engaged traveler that grew up in the United States. Since then, I have lived in Russia, worked in the Samoan Islands, and am now completing a PhD in New Zealand.
I am passionate about the outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a student with friends all over the world. As such, I am on a student budget when trying to visit any location.
Interests
Paragliding, hiking, and photography are my things and I can spend too much time talking about any of those things. I've hiked with Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail with the intention of completing the Continental Divide Trail, Long Trail, and Arizona Trail at some point in the future.
My ideal night is a quiet evening with a good book and good beer. I do not dabble too hard in the party scene.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am all about making friends many places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First things first, when coming from the US, I can bring the single most valuable asset found outside of Canada - Maple Syrup.
Beyond that, I like talking hiking, backpacking, paragliding, and photography.
Hosts are more than welcome to suggest specific things.
