About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Backpacking Europe alone
ABOUT ME
An extremely average British teenager but I want to change that.
I'm an 18 year old 'student' planning to become a primary school teacher though through spontaneity and a lifelong love of traveling I decided to take a gap year to travel (and at risk of sounding cliché find myself) and after returning from a Buddhist Temple School in Thailand i'm now backpacking and interrailing through Europe before heading to a Nepali orphanage.
PHILOSOPHY
“The saddest summary of life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.” ~ Unknown
"Find what you love and let it kill you" ~ Bukowski
"Do something every day that scares you" - Eleanor Roosevelt
Live without regrets, never turn down an opportunity and be as spontaneous as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've set up this account quite a while ago but never really got around to using it/understanding it.
Although right now I'm traveling worldwide as part of my gap year before I have to settle down into suburbia and join university etc. So far I've travelled around Thailand volunteering in a school and now I'm backpacking around Europe before I finally end up in Nepal to volunteer in an orphanage.
I've heard a lot of good things about this site and the experiences it brings and have already met a lot of people who use it and so this is my first time/trip using couchsurfing, so far just surfing and traveling although I'd love to host when I get back 'home'.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just returned from a volunteering job in northern Thailand sharing a house with up to 30+ other volunteers.
Currently using it on my travels around Europe, ask me again in a month...
Interests
Basically listening to sad vinyl (The Smiths are my heroes) and drinking way too much coffee. I also love to watch films and read books, basically anything which allows me to escape reality and transports me to another place (which is why I like to travel)
I also like to ride my scooter (Vespa PX for you enthusiasts) endlessly into back trails and country roads alike.

Teach, Learn, Share
Endless stories about my past travels and student life in England.
I can also cook quite a bit of Thai food (my mother is Thai) although I'm not sure how she'd feel about me passing on her secret recipes.
I'd love to learn how to play an instrument if anyone I contact can.
