About Me

ABOUT ME
I enjoy traveling and meeting new people and cultures. So many opportunities open up on the road, and especially if you speak some of the native languages of the places you're traveling to. I'm sociable and open by nature, however I also like quiet times .

I try to live a simple life. One day I'd like to live somewhere in a natural environment, living completely self-sustainably, maybe in a community of like minded people. I love to travel, because on the road one can meet remarkable people, see great places, learn many things.

In my free time I like to read, go for hiking or walks in nature, meditate, and talk about range of subjects.

I traveled from 2014 to 2019 to some interesting places in the world, places of peace, power and beauty. In my travels I always search for inspiration but also sharing of vital qualities of the soul that can uplift us all.

"The real voyage of discovery consist in not seeking new lands, but in having new eyes.“
~ Marcel Proust

PHILOSOPHY

I strive to live a meaningful life, so to fulfill the responsibility I have towards myself and others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up till now I had opportunity with surfing, hosting, meeting up and organizing CS events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started with couchsurfing in 2015 while traveling in Mexico, and then after that in South America, Egypt, India and Iran. I can only express my deepest gratitude for meeting all of those people with whom I stayed, and learning from them and/or from the situations. It amazes me the amount of trust that the hosts have given me, by opening the doors of their home to an unknown person. It's an amazing and a heart-warming thing when someone invites you to their life like that.

Interests

Psychology, Gnosis, meditation, history, astronomy, music, art, self-sustainable architecture and living (earthships, cob houses, permaculture, biodynamics...).
I also like outdoor activities like walking, treking, hiking, camping, gathering with friends around the fire in the evening.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Truman Show; Life of Pi; Matrix; Avatar; Baraka; Koyanisquatsi; Peaceful Warrior; Contact; Shawshank Redemption; Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Inception, Winter's Tale, Mongol, Arrival, Spirited Away etc.

Music:
Classical; Traditional folk (Andean, Native American, Tibetan, Chinese, Celtic, Indian Raga, Sufi, Middle Eastern); Electronic Ambient. I like some contemporary musicians such as Lorena McKennit, Joanne Shenandoah and some others. There are also some rock, dub, reggae, and pop songs that I like.

Books:
I like to read books of authors such as G.I. Gurdjieff, Carl Jung, Rudolf Steiner, Samael Aun Weor and some others of that kind; also adventure stories with meaning, ancient sacred texts, world folk stories/mythology etc.
